About The Human Comedy
A fresh way of seeing the old, familiar comedy of everyday life.
We are all part of the picture.
Life has a wonderful habit of making fun of our best intentions. We pursue simplicity with complicated gadgets. We seek tranquility in crowded places. We talk about getting away from it all while checking our phones. The contradictions are everywhere, and they're often more amusing than anything a comedian could invent.
The Human Comedy captures these moments through modern illustrated scenes. Each artwork begins with a recognizable situation and adds a small, ironic twist. Sometimes the humor is gentle, sometimes pointed, but the subject is always the same: human nature.
Our collection celebrates the ability to laugh at ourselves. It invites you to look twice, find the joke, and perhaps recognize someone you know — including yourself.
The gallery includes fifty artworks. We hope you'll enjoy exploring every one.
Every illustration is presented as a small visual story. The details invite a second look, while the situations are familiar enough to make the scenes feel like little snapshots of our own world.
Every artwork is available as a digital file from this site, emailed within 24 hours, and as framed artwork through our gallery at Fine Art America.
